This quick-start guide walks you through the fastest path to accepting your first payment with the Products & Services module. By the end you will have a live checkout link you can share with customers, and you will know where to watch new orders arrive. Each step below takes only a few minutes — the whole flow typically takes under 15 minutes on a fresh install.
1

Verify your payment gateway is configured

Before anything else, confirm that at least one payment gateway is ready to process transactions. A checkout form with no working payment method will leave customers unable to complete a purchase.Navigate to Settings → Products & Services → General and check that Enable Stripe payment gateway or Enable Paypal payment gateway is turned on. Then verify the underlying gateway is also active in your CRM’s main payment settings.
Enabling a gateway inside this module is not enough on its own. Stripe must also be configured and enabled in your CRM’s main payment gateway settings. PayPal requires its own API credentials under Settings → Products & Services → PayPal (API). See Payment gateways for the full setup.
2

Create your first service

A service is the product or service you want to sell. Go to Products & Services → Services and click the add button. At minimum, fill in:
  • Service Name — the name customers will see at checkout, for example “Logo Design” or “Monthly SEO Retainer”.
  • Billing Type — choose Onetime Payment for a one-off charge, or Recurring Payment (Subscription) to bill customers on a repeating schedule.
  • Price — enter the amount you want to charge.
Save the service. It will immediately become available on checkout forms.
You can always come back to add a description, upload an image, configure pricing tiers, create optional add-ons, or set up post-purchase automation. Get your first service saved and live, then refine it later. See Services overview for the full reference.
3

Choose a checkout form

A checkout form is the public page where customers browse and buy. You have two options:
Every GrowCRM account includes a built-in All Services form that automatically lists every enabled service. You do not need to configure anything — the service you just created is already on it.Go to Products & Services → Forms and confirm the All Services form is enabled. That is all you need to do for this step.
4

Copy and share the checkout link

Every form has its own unique public URL. To copy it, go to Products & Services → Forms and click the external-link icon next to the form you want to share. The checkout page opens in a new tab — copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.The link follows this format:
Share this link directly with customers via email, add it to your website, or include it in proposals. Anyone with the link can view the services and complete a purchase without logging in to your CRM.
Clients who are already logged in to your CRM can also reach all enabled forms from the Services menu in their client portal, where each form appears as a card on the catalog page.
5

Monitor your first order

Once a customer completes checkout, GrowCRM creates an order automatically — no manual action needed. Go to Products & Services → Orders to see it.Each order record shows the service purchased, the amount paid, the payment method used, and the client it belongs to. If you configured checkout automation on the service, any linked project will also have been created at this point.
You and your team will receive an email notification for every new order and payment. You can customise the wording of these emails under Settings → Products & Services → Email Templates.
See Orders overview to learn how to manage orders, view subscription status, and handle renewals.
